  • Do I need to buy a dining plan?
First year/Freshman students living in a Drexel Residence Hall are required to purchase one of the two weekly plans for the Fall 2018, Winter 2019, and Spring 2019 terms. Sophomore students and above have the option to sign-up for the desired plan that best fits their needs.

  • Will my dining plan auto renew for next academic term?
Dining plans for First Year/Freshman students will automatically renew from Fall to Winter and from Winter to Spring. Sophomore students and above will need to sign-up for a dining plan using DrexelOne for each term. Any changes to dining plans must be made within the first two weeks of each term.

  • Will unused dining plans or Dining Dollars roll over?
Dining Dollars rollover from Fall to Winter and from Winter to Spring when you are continuously enrolled in a Dining Plan. Dining Dollars are not redeemable for cash. Funds must be used by the end of the Spring term or they will be forfeited.

  • If I have already purchased a dining plan, can I change it?
You have until the end of the second week of the term to change your dining plan. After the first two weeks you may still upgrade and add Dining Dollars to your dining plan.

  • What are Meal Swipes?
Meals swipes are the backbone of your dining plan and are accepted at the all-you-care-to-eat Handschumacher Dining Center (Creese Student Center). Meals Swipes can also be exchanged at The Cafe @ PCJL or Urban Eatery (34th & Lancaster) dining platforms: Downtown Grounds, Downtown Grounds Smoothies, Greene St., Vespa, Ignite, U.C. Veg and Street Fare.
  • What are Dining Dollars?
Dining Dollars supplement meal swipes and are included with each dining plan. They work just like a debit card. Dining Dollars can be used for purchases at all Drexel Campus Dining locations including the Handschumacher Dining Center (Creese Student Center), Urban Eatery (34th & Lancaster), Starbucks (Gerri C. LeBow Hall), ThirtyOne41 (Main Building), The Cafe @ PCJL and Northside Dining Terrace featuring Chick-fil-A, Subway, Sushi and The Market (34th & Race).
  • What is a Meal Exchange?
Meal exchange allows a meal swipe to be exchanged for a complete meal combination at The Cafe @ PCJL or Urban Eatery (34th & Lancaster) dining platforms. Meal Exchange options are listed on each locations menu board.

Don’t worry - simplicity and convenience are all within reach. Once you have a dining plan, your DragonCard works like a debit card. Just swipe your card and the meals and points are deducted from your dining plan account.
